Ever since I was a little girl I would have my up and downs in math. Everyone does but there comes a point in your life where you realize math is a part of your life and you learn to except it.

In all my acedemic carreer I've struggled to some extent with math. I like working with other teams and consider other peoples viewpoints because this is how I've learned to overcome challenges also.

Like most people, there were certain topics in math that were harder to understand, i overcame my problems and misunderstanding of the topic by asking people who understood to help me or i would take a break from working and get back to the topic when i felt better about it.

I think that I struggle in math when I learn something new. Then I over come it by practicing similar prblems.

i used to struggle in math a whole lot. I overcame this by putting in extra time to study what i had learned in class so that i would understand it more.

throughout my education since i was in kindergarten and so on till 12th grade i always had struggles with math, not the numbers itself but just the different concepts like the graphs, equations, and the difficult area, i seem to never get it at times!!!

but with just some support and practice it seems to be okay...

I struggle math because there was one point that I didn't come to school and when I was doing my PBA it was kind of hard to do the work but then I paid close attention to my team work. I did the best to do my work and class work

i have always given a straight attitude when it came to math i liked it when i was younger and enjoyed becasue i actually felt like i was learning something but when i came to high school i felt completly lost and i didnt know if i was ever going to like math like i had in my past. this year in 12th grade ive come to the point where im like if i wanna learn something i gotta go out there and ask those questions. and happy from my turn out b/c i passed my PBA and math class.

When I was younger I was really terrible at math. My mom seemed to try everything from abicuses, to macaronni, to flash cards and I still didn't get it. As I got older and began to understand concepts and "habits of mind" then I began to excell. It's funny because I got nervous during my Calc PBA and had to stop for a moment and take a deep breath. When everyone was giving feedback my mother was like "I swore you were going to give up. If that was the old Kaylin you would have picked up your things and stormed out of the room!" She was super impressed. I have become more successful with time, and patience. And also the extra support of friends and family. Calc study hall has been really helpful!
